After a moment's hesitation, Ivan turned his head back to look at Yao. He could feel the tears building up in his eyes, and he hated it. He was getting older, he shouldn't be crying so much. And for a reason so trivial...he gripped the side of the bench harder in an attempt to stop the tears.

France hummed softly as he brushed his hand through Sicily's dark locks. Fingers were gentle in movements, and the small girl was completely content in slumber. Zollver didn't awaken either from their sudden snatching, wrapped around his bunny. The room they were in was warm and dark, only a single window looking over over the British landscape. Thank goodness it didn't rain; Francis would have been scared for their sickness. He was completely docile, being the fatherly man he was. He missed Canada and America when they were this young; it felt good to have little ones to care for. A stray finger graced over Zollver's cheek, and he muttered.

Yao sat on the floor in Alfred's living room, watching the American play video games with Kiku. Francis sat on the other side of Kiku, also serving as a spectator. However, Yao's mind wasn't on the game; he was thinking about how bad he felt for not telling Ivan where he was going. 'That boy must be so scared, aru,' he thought with a slight sigh. He wished that Ivan had a cell phone so that Yao could call him and tell him where he was, but their parents didn't think a 15 year old boy needed such a thing yet.

Yao quickly ran through a list of possible lies he could tell. He knew that he would feel guilty and his conscience would haunt him forever if he lied to his parents, but he would rather lie than tell the truth in this case. He could deny the blushing. But his parents already knew the truth. He could make up some excuse, like the heat... but that would not explain the odd behavior.
